ABOUT
Dear You Paperie is my little labour of love – a collection of hand-painted cards designed to celebrate life’s little moments and bring a touch of joy to the everyday.
I’m an artist based in North Yorkshire with a lifelong love of beautiful stationery. Over the years, I’ve gathered paper treasures from around the world and spent many moments with my watercolours. What began as designing cards for friends when I couldn’t find the ones I wanted to send, soon grew into something more. During nap times on maternity leave, Dear You Paperie was born too – a way to reconnect with creativity and share something special with others.
Every card is made with so much care. I work with a trusted, family-run printer in London, who I’ve collaborated with for over 20 years. Together, we print on premium Tintoretto Gesso – a beautifully thick, lightly textured stock made by the renowned Fedrigoni. It not only adds a luxurious feel but is also sustainably sourced, which is at the heart of everything I do.
There’s something truly special about sending a little joy through the post or opening an envelope to find a handwritten note from a friend. It’s a small gesture, but it means the world and they are designed to be treasured long after they’re opened.
At its heart, Dear You Paperie is about making the everyday feel special and sending a little bit of magic through the post.
