Hi! Thank you so much for being here. I’m Sophie - the artist and founder of Dear You Paperie. What started as a quiet creative project during maternity leave has grown into something that means the world to me.

I’ve always loved stationery - I used to come back from holidays with half my suitcase full of it - but I could never quite find the kind of card I wanted to send. Something timeless and joyful, that felt like a little gift in its own right. So I started painting them myself. Cakes with thick frosting, bows and balloons, candles and stripes - simple yet vibrant watercolours to celebrate everything.

I truly believe a card can hold so much. They're a little reminder that someone’s thinking of you and they've taken a moment out of their day to put pen to paper and let you know. There's something so special in that.

I handpaint each design here in North Yorkshire and print all my cards with brilliant family-run business, using a beautiful sustainable FSC-certified Italian stock by Fedrigoni - softly textured and perfect for holding all the watercolours. Foiling is done using traditional methods with biodegradable recycled gold foil.
